Mississippi’s oldest packaging brewery, Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company, is now available in Ohio, the first state outside of the south to receive beers from the brewery.
Four beers from Lazy Magnolia will begin making their way to Columbus tap handles and store shelves next week:
- Southern Pecan: made using whole roasted pecans used as part of the grain build (4.39% ABV)
- Southern Hops’pitality: an India Pale Ale with a bold citrus burst (6% ABV)
- Lazy Saison: Spring seasonal Belgian ale with a hint of spiciness (8.9% ABV)
- Timber Beast: a rye pale ale featured from the brewery’s Back Porch series (8.9% ABV)
Southern Pecan won a Bronze Medal in the 2006 World Beer Cup in the Specialty Beer category.
