In honor of their fifth anniversary, Yellow Brick Pizza is throwing a month-long Sour Fest featuring a pretty remarkable selection of sour beers.
Sours offer complex tart and funky flavors that result from added bacteria and aging. From mild to wild, Yellow Brick is opening their cellars and letting the sours flow throughout November.
More than 20 sours will be available on draft rotating throughout the month at the Olde Towne East bar, including Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura, New Holland Incorrigible, Cismontane Marea Roja, Rivertown Pomegranate Lambic, Victory Wild Devil, Wild Beer Co. Somerset Saison, Alvinne/Stillwater Wild West, Petrus Aged Pale, Bayerischer Bahnhof Berliner-Weisse, Dogfish Head Festina Peche, Hitachino Nest Anbai, Petrus Aged Red, BFM Square Root 225 Saison, Jolly Pumpkin/Anchorage Calabaza Boreal, Full Pint Strawberry Berliner-Weisse, Bayerischer, Bahnhof Pineus Gose, New Belgium La Folie, Freigest Salzpeicher, Vicaris Tripel Gueuze, Jolly Pumpkin Luciernaga, Bockor Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge, New Belgium Le Terroir and Bell’s Oarsman.

Yellow Brick will also be giving away prizes through the month. Customers are encouraged to take a selfie of their best “sour face” and tag it #ybpsourface2014. Each Friday, the picture with the most ‘likes’ will win a prize. Everyone who posts a “sour selfie” will be entered into a grand prize drawing for two tickets to a five-course beer dinner to be held in December.
