Any item regularly found brandishing a bank’s logo can’t be that exciting. I’m looking at you, beer koozies. Every car dealership, credit union and software company in the world has slapped their logo on a koozie and unceremoniously passed it out at a trade show, so it’s not exactly an product line that’s sparked my interest.
That all changed when Freaker sent me samples of their self-proclaimed quirky-as-hell one-size-fits-all beverage insulators.
A dinosaur on a bike dubbed “Lance Tiny-Arms Strong!” A sparkly pastel “Unicorn on the Cob!” Even an American flag livened up by being named “Babraham Lincoln.” They’re unpretentiously packaged and even come with a hand drawn “love note” when you order online.
Freakers fit over any sized bottle or can (we even tried — with almost successful results — to get it around a full-sized growler) and can be ordered online for $9.99. You can also pick some up locally at Bink Davies, Earth Fare and Columbus Barrel Co.
