Do you homebrew? Are you any good at it? You may want to enter Barley’s Brewing Company’s 20th Annual Homebrew Competition; the winner will have their recipe brewed at Barley’s and shared with the world – well, at least with visitors to the downtown brewpub.
The final judging and announcements will be on June 7th at the Afternoon with the Brewers event, where last year’s winning brew, a milk stout from homebrewer Eric Yousey, will be tapped. Brewmaster Angelo Signorino will gather local brewmasters and beer experts for the judging process.
Those interested in entering can drop off their entries at Barley’s Brewing Company from Monday, May 18th to Saturday May 23rd between 11am-5pm. Each style entered requires three unlabeled, twelve ounce bottles. Visit the Barley’s website for more info and entry forms.
