Alcohol delivery service Drinkos launching in Columbus

Drinkos ColumbusDrinkos, a web-based alcohol delivery service, is set to launch in Columbus tomorrow. The Chicago-based company launched stores in Cincinnati and Dayton in late May with plans of expanding to the capital city. The website promises alcohol, cigars, energy drinks and snacks in 60 minutes or less.

Orders must meet a minimum of $30 on top of a $5 deliver charge (and you need a valid 21+ ID, of course). Ordering takes place on Drinkos.com or through the Drinkos Android and iPhone apps. The app lets you track your order as well, for those who just bear the anticipation.

The service is totally legal and works with licensed alcohol distributors and liquor stores. However, the inventory list has yet to be announced, so it looks like we’re stuck waiting the remaining 23 hours and 53 minutes left on the countdown to find out more.
