Drink Up Columbus is ALL IN for the 2015 Gay Softball World Series which is coming to Columbus next week!
The Gay Softball World Series is the world’s largest championship softball event and one of the largest LGBT sporting events. Thousands of people from dozens of cities across North America will be descending upon our city for the games, parties and team spirit!
We’ve teamed up with GSWS to host a beer tasting fundraiser this Thursday, August 13 at the Easton Farmer’s Market from 4-7pm. At the event we’ll be pouring beers from Actual Brewing, Maumee Bay Brewing, Rhinegeist Brewing and Zauber Brewing.

Samples will be 50 cents each, and all proceeds will be donated to local charities through the GSWS Charity Fund; the Gay Softball World Series raised over $20k for the community when it was last held in Columbus in 2010.
Drink Up Columbus will also be selling our Day Drinking shirts at the event and giving 10% of portion of those proceeds to the Gay Softball World Series to donate to local LGBT organizations.
Look for our tent at this week’s Easton Farmers Market, held at Easton Town Square from 4-7pm. RSVP on Facebook if you plan to stop by!
On a personal note, I’ve been volunteering for the 2015 Gay Softball World Series for the past two years and I can’t wait for the event to finally come to town! Even if you’re not a fan of sportsball (I’m not) there are tons of fun events happening in the evenings, including a big block party in the Short North. Check ’em out!
