bike the breweriesIf you’re a cyclist missing all the excitement of Pelotonia, you’ll want to snag one of the few remaining tickets to Bike the Breweries, which, as a fundraiser for the James Cancer Hospital, is basically the same thing as Pelotonia except you only have to bike from the Short North to Clintonville, only 50 people get to participate, and you get to drink a ton of beer along the way. Otherwise, twinsies.

Back in its third year, Bike the Breweries starts at North High’s taproom with stops Lineage, Four String, Zauber, Gordon Biersch, Columbus Brewing, Barley’s, Elevator, Wolf’s Ridge, Seventh Son, wrapping up at North High’s production brewery with an afterparty featuring food trucks, live music and, of course, more beer.

The biking and beering kick off at a crisp 8:30am this Saturday, August 22. 50 people will get to go on the ride and only 13 spots remain – claim yours ASAP. Tickets cost $50, which includes a t-shirt and 22 beer samples, and all proceeds will go to the James Cancer Hospital.
