zauber explorers clubThe Explorers Club is setting up a permanent kitchen inside Zauber Brewing Company.

The Explorers Club Kitchen at Zauber Brewing Company will feature favorites from the Explorers Club food truck, including the Mofongo sandwich (Smoked Pulled Pork, Cilantro, Fresh Lime Juice, Plantains, Roasted Garlic, Jalapeno Slaw, Jack Cheese) and the Grilled Meatloaf sandwich (BBQ Sauce, Cheese, Caramelized Onions). The menu will also include new Bavarian-style dishes such as a House-made pretzel served with Zauber bier cheese and spicy mango jalapeno mustard, and a Zauber beer brat with a side of German potato salad.

“We’ve regularly featured the Explorers Club food truck at our brewery and can’t wait to make their food a permanent fixture at Zauber,” Zauber’s owner Geoff Towne said in a prepared statement. “The menu we’re working on together will be a perfect complement to Zauber’s German and Belgian beer styles.”

Zauber has been a big supporter of local food trucks and has regularly featured a rotating lineup at its taproom since opening in January 2014. While the new kitchen will mostly operate in lieu of food trucks, the brewery will continue to feature the Paddy Wagon Food Truck on Thursday evenings when the kitchen will be closed, and will also continue to host food trucks for Zauber’s two signature annual events, Maifest and Oktoberfest (slated this year for October 3).

The Explorers Club Kitchen at Zauber Brewing Company is scheduled to open Saturday, September 5, and the kitchen will begin serving lunch starting September 15. The complete menu is still being finalized.
