Rockmill whole foods“They Ran in the Fields” may sound like the opening line to a poem, but it’s really Rockmill Brewery’s latest bottle release, available exclusively at Whole Foods.

Rockmill owner Matthew Barbee says Whole Foods reached out to the brewery to see if they were interested in brewing an exclusive beer for the debut of their Easton store, which opened last month. They were interested, and thus They Ran in the Fields, a rye saison, was born.

“Rye seemed like a great fit for fall as the temperature is dropping, but we kept is sessionable at 5% for late summer, too,” said Barbee. “The Rye compliments a complex yet sessionable malt bill with a prominent hop pofile featuring the Citra hop.”

The beer is available while supplies last at all Ohio Whole Foods locations.
