Take the Pigskin Brewers Challenge
The brewers at Pigskin are kicking off an internal competition to brew the best beer with customers voting on the winner in different categories. Up first: pumpkin challenge! Head to Pigskin Friday, October 9 to try Mike’s Puntkin Nut-Brown, Nick’s Puntkin Kolsch and Vic’s Puntkin Nitro Milk Stout and declare the victor.
Head to a Rare Avery Beer Tasting
Crafted Drafts is hosting a beer tasting on Sunday, October 11 from 3-5pm featuring some rare brews from Avery Brewing out of Boulder. The stars of the tasting are the three brews from Avery’s sour series: Insula Multos Collibus, a sour ale aged in Bourbon barrels with cherries; Fortuna, a sour beer aged in tequila barrels with added lime zest and Maldon salt; and Tectum, a sour ale aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Other beers in the lineup are Lilliko’i Kepolo, Persil Saison, Average Joe Pils, Maharajah, White Rascal, Salvation and Reverend. The cost is $12 per person.

Did you know we run a board game group? We run a board game group. We meet up once a week in the evening at Zauber Brewing and once a month in the afternoon at Smokehouse Brewing, and this Sunday, October 11 is our Second Sunday Smokehouse event from 1-5pm. RSVP

Enjoy a Land-Grant Fresh Hopped Ale
Fresh hop season is almost over so get those wet hops in while you can. Land-Grant is still offering their 30,000 Acres, a fresh-hopped American Pale Ale. Brewed with fresh Simcoe, Cascade, Centennial, Citra, and Mosaic hops and named for the amount of land per congressman each state received via the Morrill Land-Grant Act of 1862.
