The collaborative European beer hall Zauber Brewing Company’s owner Geoff Towne once envisioned is finally coming together, with last month’s addition of the Explorer’s Club Kitchen and tomorrow’s opening of Das KaffeeHaus von Frau Burkhart.
Das KaffeeHaus vFB, a Lithopolis-based German coffee shop, will unleash its “Kaffee Blitzkrieg” on Grandview tomorrow morning when it officially opens its second location inside the German brewery.
The coffee shop will serve German, Austrian, Italian and French roasts, a wide selection of teas, and scratch-baked German pastries including strudel, cream puffs, schnecken and bienenstich. Das KaffeeHaus will open Monday-Friday at 6am and Saturday-Sunday at 8am. The Zauber bar and Explorer’s Club kitchen will continue to open at 11am.
On Thursday, Zauber Brewing will tap FrauBier, a coffee altbier brewed in collaboration with the Das KaffeeHaus team.
