Every Friday we share our top five picks for your weekend drinking – it’s time for the Weekend Wash Down!

Weekend Wash Down

Columbus Winter Beerfest

Over 350 craft beers are flowing tonight at the sixth Columbus Winter Beerfest held annually inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center. It’s a two-day event, but Saturday is already sold out. Snag your Friday tickets.
Friday, February 19, 8-11pm

Gastropub Grub

Pigskin Brewing debuts a new food menu tonight with a full range of apps, flatbreads, sandwiches and salads. Tonight they’re giving out free appetizers; tomorrow they’ll be handing out coupons for free apps on a future visit. There will be live music from Donna Mogavero from 6-9pm both days.
Friday, February 19 and Saturday, February 20

Bowie Beer

Ashes to Ashes, Stardust to Stardust. Stop by North High Brewing’s taproom tonight to try their new double IPA brewed in tribute to David Bowie. May contain actual stardust. Or people? But probably just glitter. It’s hard to know for certain, though.
Friday, February 19

Kolache Beer Pairing

Head to Land-Grant Brewing Company for an afternoon of beer and Kolache pairings. Kolache are European pastries, sweet or savory and full of deliciousness. The Land-Grant folks worked with Kolache Republic to develop a beer tasting flight to perfectly pair with a corresponding flight of Kolache.
Sunday, February 21, 12-6pm

“Bottomless” Mimosas

After a successful “bottomless” mimosa special for Valentine’s Day, Forno is hosting another “bottomless” mimosa weekend. Why the quotes? Because it’s not legal to offer unlimited alcohol for a set price in Ohio, so limits *may* apply. Cough. Get tickets for $20 online.
Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, 10am-3pm

Hope you got tickets to the North Market Mix & Shake and Lineage’s Beer School and Hoof Hearted’s can release, because these awesome events are already sold out!
