Short’s Brewing Tasting

Try several brews from new-to-Ohio Short’s Brewing tonight at House Wine and take home a Short’s glass, all for $15. Tasting will feature Huma Lupa Licious IPA, Soft Parade Fruit Rye Ale, Bellaire Brown, Space Rock Pale Ale, Controversiale IPA, Pulsar Semi-Dry Cider and Octorock Semi-Sweet Cider.

Mead and Cupcake Tasting

Crafted Drafts is pairing Crafted meads with gluten-free Kokos Cupcakes tonight. The tasting will feature Appleseed Cask, Hop Resinance #1 Sorachi Ace, Hop Resinance #2 Citra, Hop Resinance #3 German Hallertau Mittelfuh, Bananas Foster Forever, Chipotle Pollen-Nation, Vanilla Cinnamon, MadTree & Crafted collaboration Nucleus Braggot, Mad Tree Surprise Special Release.

Drafts & Crafts

The organizers of Made Local Marketplace are back with another edition of Drafts & Crafts, a pop-up shopping event held at a different Columbus brewery each month. Each event features 6-10 local artists, crafters and other vendors, and the next event is Saturday at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing.

Mario Kart Tournament & Jackie O’s tap takeover

Level One Bar + Arcade is a hosting a Mario Kart 64 Tournament this weekend featuring cash prizes for the top three finishers, a Jackie’s O’s tap takeover and Jackie O’s swag.

A League of Their Own Beer Tasting

Studio 35 is hosting an extra beer tasting and movie screening this month and this one is a fundraiser for Ruling Our eXperiences. The event will feature brews from Troeg’s, Abita, Green Flash, Rivertowne, Flying Dog, Avery, Lagunitas, Dark Horse, Weyerbacker and Ace Cider, plus plenty of giveaways and a screening of A League of Their Own. Just remember, there’s no crying in baseball.
