Park Street Cantina is teaming up with Heidelberg Distributing to attempt a Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Beer Tasting.
The record attempt will take place on Saturday, April 30 at approximately 2pm at Park Street Cantina during a Cinco de Mayo themed party. The current world record for largest beer tasting is 1,236 attendees.
Tickets to the event are available online for five dollars (plus a service charge) which gets you three four-ounce beer pours, plus the opportunity to make it into the Guinness World Records Book.
“We wanted to do something truly unique and fun this year for Cinco de Mayo and build that community aspect that is such a living and breathing part of the city that I love to live and work in,” said Marty Thomas, brand manager for Corona in Columbus, in a statement.
Park Street Cantina and Heidelberg have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Ohio and will donate a portion of the event’s proceeds to the organization.
Park Street Cantina is located at 491 N. Park Street.
