11th North Market Ohio Craft Brew Festival this weekend

north-marketThe North Market is hosting its 11th annual Ohio Craft Brew Festival this weekend.

Participating breweries include Barley’s, Elevator, Great Lakes, Jackie O’s, Lineage, Kindred, North High, Rhinegeist, Rockmill, Seventh Son, Sideswipe, Wolf’s Ridge, Zauber, Actual, Platform, Gordon Biersch, Warped Wing and Ill Mannered. North Market merchants will remain open during festival hours for dining and shopping, and live entertainment will be featured throughout both days of the two-day event, including the “King of Ohio” competition in which 70 beers from throughout the state will be judged to declare the best session beer from Ohio.

One-day passes will be available for $30 at the door, and include 10 tasting tickets and a $5 North Market voucher. Two-day passes will also be available for $40 at the door, and those come with early entry both days of the festival plus 15 tasting tickets and a $5 North Market voucher.

The event is one of the largest fundraising events for the North Market Development Authority, the 501(c)(3) organization that manages the daily operations of the historic market.

The North Market Ohio Craft Brew Festival will be held Friday, September 23 from 7-11pm, and Saturday, September 24 from 2-10pm. The North Market is located at 59 Spruce Street.
