MadTree Brewing has teamed up with Harvest to craft a collaboration peach saison that will tap this Wednesday.
MadTree, based in Cincinnati, regularly works with chefs for their Chef Series of collaborative beers. The collaborations work to create unique flavor profiles and source special ingredients that lend themselves to original food pairings.
“Harvest was a natural fit for this collaboration due to their extensive use of seasonally fresh, often locally sourced, ingredients throughout their menu,” said MadTree’s Mike Stuart.
The Harvest chefs and MadTree brewers came up with Fuzz, a saison brewed with peaches and pink peppercorns. Stuart describes Fuzz as a balanced beer with subtle peach and apricot notes and a slight pepper finish.
The beer will be tapped this Wednesday, September 28 at 5pm at Harvest in Clintonville, located at 2885 N High St. Special menu items paired with MadTree beers Fuzz, Happy Amber and PsycHOPathy will be available at the event. Fuzz will also be available at a fundraiser for the Central Ohio Watershed Council & Sierra Club at Bob’s Bar on Thursday September 29, and at a Mid-Ohio Foodbank fundraiser with Sam Adams at World of Beer High Street on October 16.
