The Land-Grant Brewing Company is releasing a new brew to commemorate the 5th consecutive World Cup Qualifying cycle being held in Columbus.

“We watched the 2014 World Cup in the brewery during construction, and we’ve had incredible experiences at US-Mexico matches in the past,” said Land-Grant President Adam Benner. “Once we heard the announcement that Columbus would once again host the game, we knew we had to brew up something special to commemorate it.”

The beer, an India Pale Lager named Home, is dry-hopped with Centennial, Cascade, Citra and Simcoe hops.

“U.S. Soccer has been a huge part of Land-Grant,” said Benner. Earlier this year Land-Grant released Glory honoring the Columbus Crew.

Home will be available on draft and in six-packs at the Land-Grant taproom and craft beer retailers throughout the Columbus area beginning Monday, November 7 and during the November 11 USA-Mexico match at Mapfre Stadium. Six-packs of cans will retail for $11.99.
