Watershed Distillery hosted a release party Friday for their black walnut liqueur Nocino which featured plenty of tasty cocktails showing off the spirit as well as a sneak peek of the coming-soon Watershed Kitchen & Bar.

The new bar, slated to open by February, offers guests a prime view of the distillation equipment, and a private event space showcases Watershed’s barrel room. Alex Chien — who recently competed in an international competition in London for the title of The Most Imaginative Bartender where he earned high honors — has been tapped to lead the new bar’s cocktail program, while Jack Moore, formerly of Bill Glover’s Sage American Bistro, will head up the kitchen as Executive Chef.

Check out our photos of the new space and stay tuned for more information about the grand opening.
