The inaugural Columbus Winter Wine Show will take place on December 21 at Strongwater Food and Spirits featuring a specially-curated assortment of 40 wines from around the world ranging from red to white, dry to sweet, and sparkling.
“My ten-for-$10 wine tastings really started taking off and I heard this repeated desire from people to have great wine in an unstuffy atmosphere,” said Landon Proctor, organizer of the event. “People kept asking for better and better wine so I thought I’d give it a shot.”
Proctor plans to continue to host quarterly wine shows at Strongwater until attendance outgrows the venue.
All bottles will be available for purchase immediately after the show, with mix-and-match cases of 12 bottles available at a 10% discount. The full dinner menu from Strongwater will also be available for guests to purchase.
Early Bird tickets are available online through December 13 (sorry for the late notice!) for $30 for general admission or $40 for VIP, which includes an hour of early entry and access to additional premium wine pours. On December 14, the pricing jumps to $40 for general admission and $60 for VIP. St A portion of ticket sales will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus.
The Columbus Winter Wine Show will take place Wednesday, December 21 from 7-9pm (6-9pm for VIP ticket holders) at Strongwater Food and Spirits, located at 401 W Town Street.
