Actual Brewing will host their second annual immature amateur science fair this Saturday.
Several science stations are planned for the event.
“We’ll still have volcanoes, CO2 bubbles, slime and all the good stuff, but we’re adding a few more stations, robotics and lasers and other awesome, please-don’t-die, kinda science stations,” said Actual owner Fred Lee.
This year’s event also will feature science fair projects submitted by the public. The winning project will receive $100 — the deadline to enter has now passed.
The brewery will tap a science-inspired beer for the event: Chaika Red Lager, named after Valentina “Chaika” Tereshkova, the first woman in space.
Last year almost 1,000 people attended the inaugural science fair, according to Lee.
The Science Fair will take place Saturday, March 4 from 12-11pm at Actual Brewing Company, located at 655 N. James Rd.
