Local beer and spirits to flow at 7th annual Digfest

DigfestDigfest — that’s “Drinks In Grandview” Fest – will return next weekend to Grandview Yard for its seventh year.

Two dozen Ohio breweries will be pouring at Digfest this year, including Black Cloister, The Brew Kettle, Commonhouse, Cellar Dwellar, Columbus Brewing, Elevator, Fat Head’s, Four String, Hofbrauhaus, Homestead, Hoof Hearted, Jackie O’s, Kindred, Land-Grant, MadTree, Market Garden, Millersburg, North High, Rhinegeist, Seventh Son, Sideswipe, Urban Artifact, Wild Ohio and Wolf’s Ridge, and local distilleries Karate Cowboy, Middle West Spirits, Mill Street, Tessora and Watershed will be sampling their spirits. Ohio wine, which has been featured at all previous Digfests, will not be offered at this year’s event.

The fest will feature live music from Kelly Zullo (4-4:30), Ian Hummel (4:30-5), Zach Whitney (5-5:30), Nick D’Andrea (5:30-6, The Whirlybirds (6-8, and Perennial Rye (8-10) as well as food from Red Hook Grill, Marshall’s Grandview, Giant Eagle Market District, Schmidt’s Sausage Truck, Skyward Grille, Mamma Can Cook, Trattoria Roma and Aloha Streatery.

VIP packages for Digfest are available online starting at $30, which include an extra 4oz per pour and let you skip the ticket lines. Otherwise, drink tickets can be purchased individually for $6 each, or 4 for $20, at the event. There is no cost for admission and the event is family-friendly.

Digfest will take place Saturday, June 17 from 4-10:30pm in the First Avenue Park at Grandview Yard.

If you want to enjoy more drinks in Grandview, you can hit up the Tour de Grandview street party the night before (June 16) from 6-11pm along Grandview Avenue with a selection of local beers pouring from The Ohio Taproom truck.
