The “new” Endeavor Brewing Co. will celebrate its grand opening tomorrow, though in the same space, with the original brewmaster, and serving similar beers as previous 909 W. Fifth Ave occupant Zauber Brewing Co., a lot feels familiar.
The taproom, once a deep grey with accents of bright orange and blue, has been re-painted a stark white; the tangle of soccer scarves has been replaced with a tidy framed display of sports memorabilia; and the German bier hall tables have been replaced with mid-century modern furniture — but overall, it will feel pretty familiar to those who had visited the space previously.
The box-y room off of the main taproom, once home to a merchandise shop and then a German coffee shop, now houses a small meeting-slash-party room with a gnarled wood conference table and wall mounted television.
Pouring from the taps are Endeavor’s New World IPA, Latin Lager, gose, pilsner, barrel-aged pilsner, tripel, english mild and witbier. A selection of eight specialty cocktails concocted by locally acclaimed mixologist Annie Williams is also available behind the bar.
Endeavor Brewing Co. will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, September 23 with special infusions, firkins and brewery tours. Endeavor Brewing is located at 909 W. Fifth Avenue in the Grandview area.
