Grove City Brewing Company and Plum Run Winery will host an event later this month featuring two barrel-aged beers and two barrel-aged wines.
Featured drinks include a cab/syrah blend aged seven months in Barton Rye bourbon barrels; a honey mead aged for seven months in Watershed Distillery bourbon barrels; a bourbon barrel-aged Barleywine infused with local honey from Grove City’s own Honey House; and a wine barrel-aged Barleywine also infused with honey.
A limited quantity of VIP tickets are available for $30 in advance online, or $35 at the door if still available. VIP tickets include pours of all four barrel-aged beverages paired with small plates including crispy pork belly, strong cheeses, bourbon-drizzled chocolate cake and honey-infused chocolates.
The event kicks off at 5:30pm for VIPs. The general public will be admitted at 7pm for bottle sales and a 7:30pm presentation.
The Barrel Aged Day will take place on Thursday, November 30 at Grove City Brewing Company, located at 3946 Broadway in Grove City.
