Fresh off of celebrating a decade of slinging wine in Worthington, House Wine announced this week plans to open a second location in Bexley at 2262 East Main Street.

House Wine opened in Worthington in 2007. The store focuses on wine retail but also stocks a selection of craft beer and offers both wine and beer for on-premise enjoyment.

“We’re looking forward to being in the heart of a strong community like we’ve experienced in Worthington,” said owner Donnie Austin in a statement. “There have been a number of customers driving to us from Bexley for wine so we’re happy that we can become a part of the Bexley community and be right in their backyard.”

The Bexley location will be in a 1,100 square foot space adjacent to Giuseppe’s Ritrovo and the Drexel Theatre and across the street from Capital University. The new location will be managed by Austin, who will also oversee buying and events for both locations. Austin hopes to open the Bexley location in February 2018.
