The Daily Growler is rolling out the orange carpet (literally, apparently) this weekend to celebrate the five year anniversary of their original Upper Arlington location.
They’re billing the celebration as “A Classy Affair… Orange Tie Optional” and they have taken over the former Big League Haircut space next door to turn it into The Growler Annex Barrel Room, featuring a rotating selecting of Barrel Aged goodies, a pop-up from Sophie’s Gourmet Pierogi, and a live performance by Doc Robinson.
Barrel-aged beers to be featured at the event include Rhinegeist Margarita Monday, Wolf’s Ridge Yub Nub, Great Lakes Black Out Stout, Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Xmas, Barley’s Bourbon Meyer, Pretentious Sybarite Sour with Spice, Land-Grant Can Opener, Kindred Belgian Chocolate, Endeavor Wit, Uinta Cucumber Farmhouse, New Holland Mocha Mink Dragon’s Milk, Rhinegeist Mushhushshu, Elevator Winter Warmer, Abita Whiskey Sour, Millersburg Doc’s Scotch, Pretentious Raspberry Sybarite, Deschutes Black Butte 28 & 29 and Great Lakes Barleywine.
This fancy affair will feature free valet parking, and the event itself is free to attend, although “A-List” tickets are available online for $45 which include $20 in beer credit, a limited edition poster and brandy snifter, a sampler pierogi platter, and early entry to the barrel-aged annex.
The Daily Growler’s Five Year Anniversary Party will take place Friday, December 15 from 12pm-12am. The Daily Growler is located at 2812 Fishinger Road in Upper Arlington.
