The Olentangy River Brewing Company is coming later this year to a three-decade-old warehouse near the corner of Route 23 and Powell Road in Lewis Center.
“We noticed that there were a lot of beer lovers in our area that were looking for a place to call home,” said Sarah Wilkins, one of the owners and founders of Olentangy River Brewing Company, in a statement. “After doing a lot of research within the community, it became clear that Lewis Center wants a local craft brewery.”
Sarah Wilkins and business partners Ryan Wilkins, Scott Schweitzer, Bethany Schweitzer, Darci Henry and Jed Henry plan to start renovations on the warehouse later this month and hope to open the doors to the Olentangy River Brewing Company by the end of the summer.
The space will feature a production brewery, taproom, outdoor area and live music space. In addition to serving their own beers alongside offerings from other local breweries, the Olentangy River Brewing Company plans to partner with local coffee roasters to serve coffee drinks, and local food trucks to serve food at the brewery.
Enrique Iglesias (no, not that Enrique Iglesias) and Josh Vogel will be teaming up to lead the brewing operation. Iglesias previously owned and brewed at a craft brewery in Puerto Rico.
“Our beer will span the spectrum of tastes, from juicy New England IPAs, to Imperial Russian Stouts, to light and crisp hand crafted Pilsners, and everything in between,” said Iglesias in a statement. “We truly want to create brews for both beer aficionados and newcomers alike. Plans are to have at least ten Olentangy River Brewing Company beers on tap in the tasting room at all times.”
The Olentangy River Brewing Company will be located at 303 Green Meadows Drive South in Lewis Center.

I can make you craft beer, baby. I can brew away the pain.
Hopefully the water will NOT come directly from the Oldandgrungy! 😉
