Kindred Brewing will celebrate their second anniversary at their Gahanna taproom on April 7 with a full day of events starting with morning yoga followed by a beer and cookie pairing plus new and rare beer releases, live music and local food trucks.
“It’s a really great time for us to celebrate what we’ve accomplished over the year and sharing the experience with our fans is really what it is all about,” said Taproom Manager Eddie Miller in a statement. “We’ve got a fun lineup of events, and the release of two new beers is really just the cherry on top.”
The event will kick off with a beer yoga class hosted by Thank Yoga Studio ($16 tickets, available online) at 9:45am. Around 11am Kindred will host a Girl Scout cookie and beer with cookie sales going to help the City of Gahanna Department of Parks and Recreation build a natural playground at Woodside Green Park. Food trucks Buckeye Donuts, Sunnyside Tacos, Put it in Your Face Sandwich Cart, and Ajumama will be on site serving throughout the day, and The Will Freed Band will perform in the taproom from 3-6pm.
Bottles of Kindred’s barrel-aged AU Golden Sour and English Style Old Ale will be available to purchase for $13 a bottle beginning at 11am. Kindred will begin tapping kegs from their cellar of previous released vintage barrel aged and sour beers at 1pm with a new style tapped on the hour every hour.
Kindred’s 2nd Anniversarey celebration will take place from 11am-midnight on Saturday, April 7. Kindred is located at 505 Morrison Road in Gahanna.
