The Beers and Board Games Club of Columbus (which is organized by Drink Up Columbus) will host our fourth annual International Tabletop Day celebration and fundraiser on Saturday, April 28 at BrewDog’s DogTap Columbus.
International Tabletop Day is a global celebration of tabletop gaming, from the heaviest strategy games to the lightest party games. This year’s Beers & Board Games Tabletop Day event will take place at DogTap in Canal Winchester. The event will feature over a hundred different tabletop games including titles like Settlers of Catan, Codenames, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, Werewolf and many, many more.
As part of the club’s annual fundraising campaign for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 20% of gamer checks during the event will be donated by BrewDog to the hospital. To date, the Beers & Board Games club has raised more than $20,000 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Additional donations in support of the group’s fundraising efforts can be made at extra-life.org/team/bbg.
The Beers & Board Games Club of Columbus was founded in 2013 and currently has over 1,000 members. The group hosts weekly meetups at Columbus breweries and the most up to date meetup schedule can be found on Facebook.
The Beers and Board Games Club’s International Tabletop Day event will take place Saturday, April 28 from 3-8pm in the mezzo level of DogTap, which located at 96 Gender Road in Canal Winchester. The event is free to attend and open to anyone over age 21. You can RSVP on Facebook if you plan to attend.
