Ill Mannered Brewing Co will open the doors to their new Powell facility next week.

The official opening will take place at 4pm on Wednesday, August 8 and will be celebated by the tapping of Tart Red Cherry Pseudo Insubordination Berliner Weisse, a beer that was aged in an oak and brazen Syrah wine barrel. Other brews set to be poured at the opening include Powell! Right in the Kisser IPA, Ill Manna Slamma Blonde Ale, Participation Trophy New England Style IPA and Too LeWit to Quit Witbier. Fetty’s Street Food will also be on-site for the event.

“We’ve been pushing hard to get our new facility open and to deliver a top notch customer experience while keeping our neighborhood brewery feel,” said Ill Mannered Chief Mad Man and Head Brewer Tom Ayers in a statement. “We’ve built our brand around quality, fresh, local beer, an intimate taproom, and making our guests feel welcome. Carrying that same experience to the new facility while providing more options and space is truly exciting.”

The new brewery will feature a 1500 square foot taproom and 1400 square foot patio with seating for 100. The bar will have 20 taps which will feature not only Ill Mannered beer but also guest drafts from local breweries, plus cider, wine, spirits and cold brew coffee.

The brewing operations will move into the back half of the building with added capacity and room to grow. Ill Mannered plans to hang on to their old space at 30 Grace Drive and is considering using it as a private event and barrel aging space. The last day to visit the old taproom will be Sunday, August 5.

Ill Mannered will also celebrate its three year anniversary on August 18 at the new facility from 12-10pm featuring The Pit BBQ and a bottle release.

The new Ill Mannered is located at 38 Grace Drive in Powell.
