Parsons North taps first few brews

After opening in late December with a lineup of guest beers to tide them over until their own beers were ready to serve, Parsons North Brewing Co is now pouring a few house brews with more on the way.

The first Parsons North beer to hit the draft lines was an English Ale that the brewery tapped last weekend, the recipe for which earned brewer Seth Draeger an accolade at the 2016 Ohio State Fair homebrewing competition.

“English Style Bitter is definitely one of my top five favorite styles of beer,” said Draeger.

Parsons North also has a roasty American Stout available right now, and tomorrow they will tap a third release, an American Wheat brewed with grapefruit zest and juice.

Next in the pipeline are a Pale Ale, a Belgian Dubbel, an Irish Rye, a West Coast IPA, a Mulberry Saison, and a Kolsch. Eventually 11 of the the brewery’s 12 draft lines will switch over to pouring Parsons North products, including a coming-soon house root beer and a cider program which Draeger plans to kick off in the fall during apple harvest.

Parsons North Brewing Company is located at 685 Parsons Ave.
