Smokehouse Brewing Company is hosting their bi-annual Oysters and Stout event next Thursday.
A tradition spanning two decades, Smokehouse will be serving oysters fresh, smoked with Chorizo or garlic butter and crisp-fried, along with several stouts and porters from Smokehouse and sister brewery Commonhouse Ales as well as from other breweries. On draft for the event: Smokehouse Nitro Saint Joan’s Revenge Imperial Stout, Smokehouse Saint Joan’s Revenge with Vanilla, Commonhouse Ales O-H! Porter, and Commonhouse Ales O-H! Cherry Porter; In bottles: Columbus Brewing Melk, Against the Grain 35K Milk Stout, Founder’s Breakfast Stout, Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout, Great Divide Oatmeal Yeti, Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout, and Samuel Smith Taddy Porter.
No tickets or reservations are required for this event, just order some oysters and your favorite porter or stout to pair with.
The event kicks off on Thursday, February 28 at 4pm and ends when the oysters are gone — and they’ve been known to go fast. If you miss this one, Smokehouse usually does another Oysters & Stout event in the fall.
Smokehouse Brewing Company is located at 1130 Dublin Road.
