The Beers and Board Games Club of Columbus (which is organized by Drink Up Columbus) will host the fifth annual International Tabletop Day celebration and fundraiser on Saturday, June 1 at BrewDog in Canal Winchester.

International Tabletop Day is a global celebration of tabletop gaming, from the heaviest strategy games to the lightest party games. This year’s Beers & Board Games Tabletop Day event will take place in the beer museum at BrewDog and will feature over a hundred different tabletop games including titles like Azul, Codenames, Welcome To, Ticket to Ride, Werewolf and many, many more.

As part of the club’s annual fundraising campaign for Nationwide Children’s Hospital there will be a $5 cover with all proceeds benefiting the hospital. BrewDog will also be donating 20% from every gamer check to the cause and there will be a silent auction featuring several beer and board game packages. To date, the Beers & Board Games Club of Columbus has raised over $30,000 to help sick kids in our community. Additional donations can be made at extra-life.org/team/bbg.

The Beers & Board Games Club of Columbus was founded in 2013 and currently has over 1,500 members. The group hosts weekly meetups at Columbus breweries and the most up to date meetup schedule can be found in the B&BG Facebook group.

The Beers and Board Games Club’s International Tabletop Day event will take place Saturday, June 1 from 3-7pm in the beer museum at DogTap, which located at 96 Gender Road in Canal Winchester. The event is open to anyone over age 18 and you can RSVP on Facebook if you plan to attend.
