Six years ago, Donald and Liz Staas opening a small brewery in downtown Delaware with the goal of making their brewpub a focal point for locals to gather together for good beer and good company. If you’ve been to Staas, you would probably agree: Mission Accomplished.
“The heart and soul of our place are the regulars and the friendships formed at the pub,” said Donald. “At the end of the day, brewing great beer and making money is essential for us, but bringing people together and making lasting friendships in the process is what has led us to love what we do.”
The brewery will celebrate its sixth anniversary on Sunday, July 14th from 3-8pm. Their popular American Wheat will be returning to the taps as well as three completely new beers. They’ll also be tapping a special cask or two on their beer engine, and the Taquitos food truck will be serving on site.
Staas Brewing is located at 31 W. Winter Street in Delaware.
