Watershed Distillery will release their 100th batch of bourbon, a single barrel blend, on February 29 in honor of the distillery’s ten year anniversary.

The single barrel bourbon, dubbed Batch 100, will be exclusively available at Watershed’s bottle shop. Batch 100 was selected in part by community members who voted on their favorite of four barrels at a bourbon dinner held by the distillery last month.

Roughly 150 bottles of the single barrel bourbon will available, limited to two per person, beginning at 2:30pm on Saturday, February 29. The bar at Watershed will open at 2pm so guests can arrive early and enjoy a cocktail while they wait for the release.

“We are excited for the community to experience batch 100 of Watershed Bourbon,” shared Josh Gandee, Beverage Director at Watershed, in a statement. “This bourbon has a nose of oak and vanilla with flavor notes of caramel, orange rind, mocha and almond. Single cask bourbon is a special treat as it allows the unique characteristic of a particular barrel to be experienced as opposed to blending for uniformity.”

Watershed Distillery is located at 1145 Chesapeake Ave.
