Wolf’s Ridge launches low-cal IPA

For hop heads seeking healthier options in the New Year, Wolf’s Ridge has released a new low-calorie hazy IPA called Pup.

This 95 calorie/4.5 carb beer clocks in at 4% ABV and is described as light in body and soft on the palate but bursting with tropical flavors from El Dorado and Nelson sauvin hops. Wolf’s Ridge used experimental techniques by incorporating Monk Fruit to add some sweetness and help keep their beer lower in calories.

With can shortages heavily impacting the brewing industry, the brewpub had to adapt cans they had stockpiled from their batch of “Leisurely” to create the packaging for Pup.

The beer is available online and for pickup or delivery.
