If you’ve ever thought “we need a drinker’s equivalent to Dine Originals Week and Restaurant Week,  you’re in luck – the first Columbus Yelp Drinks Week is just around the corner, and your wallet will thank you.Your liver, on the other hand…

Monday, April 4 through Sunday, April 10, you can enjoy 3 half-priced featured drinks at several local bars from the time they open their doors until 9pm, all seven days! There are official Yelp Happy Hours throughout the week planned, and you get a sweet t-shirt if you show up to 3 (and have a Yelp account.)

Yelp Columbus Community Manager Christina Christian adds: “”Have you ever wondered what Christmas is like for Happy Hour lovers? Behold Columbus’s first ever bar week: Yelp Drinks 2011! Nine bars. Seven days. Half-off some amazing libations! Kick-it with cheap drinks and a good time with members of the Yelp community.”

Many of the drinks featured are Columbus made, including Camelot Cellars wine, Columbus Brewing Company beer, OYO Vodka and Watershed Gin.

    What is the draft beer selection like at Hampton’s on King? $2 drafts is pretty good depending on selection… if it’s fizzy and yellow, I’ll pass.
