Whether you prefer a crisp white or a bold red— or you don’t know the difference— there will be plenty to fill your glass at Viva Las Vino, the newest fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio set for Friday, May 6 in the intimate setting of The Loft at Smith Brothers.
“The event has been designed to appeal to wine lovers at all levels,” said Dianna Doyle, Executive Director for the Epilepsy Foundation. “It will be the perfect opportunity to explore a variety of tastes.”
The High-Roller Tasting should attract the serious wine connoisseur looking for a top-notch tasting experience. It is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m, and tickets are $100. The Players Club Tasting goes from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and is ideal for the young professional looking to learn the nuances of wine appreciation. Players Club tickets are $65 (High-Roller Tasting also includes Players Club Tasting.) All wines will be served with a variety of hors d’oeuvres.
In addition to the tastings that take place on two levels at The Loft, guests will enjoy a silent auction of sports and entertainment tickets, autographed memorabilia, special services and more. All proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio. Epilepsy affects over 3 million people nationwide – more than multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and Parkinson’s disease combined.
The Loft at Smith Brothers is located at 580 N. Fourth Street in Downtown Columbus. More information about Viva Las Vino can be found at http://www.epilepsy-ohio.org
And remember, what happens at Viva Las Vino, stays at Viva Las Vino.
