Fans of the Arena District rejoice – it’s time again for Park Street Festival. Ok, even people who aren’t “fans” of the Arena District crowd can get excited – you can’t really go wrong with outdoor drinking and live music.

Park Street Festival kicks off Friday, June 10th and runs through Saturday evening. The festival is a collaborative effort between most of the Arena District bars, including Patio, Cantina, Saloon, The Social Room, Bar Louie, Park Street Tavern, Brothers, GasWerks and Callahan’s. The action happens on roped-off Park Street, with specials and events inside the bars as well. Musical acts include:

Friday (starting at 5pm): The 17th Floor, Travelers By Dawn, Johnny White, Six Panel Driver, Dot Dot Dot& DJ Nobody
Saturday
(starting at 3pm): The Floorwalkers, Lovesick Radio, Kicking Dixie, Downplay, Union Rose, Of Human & DJ Matt Sexton

Beer mugs will be for sale for $5. This year’s festival will benefit the Second and Seven Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps promote literacy throughout Central Ohio. For more information – and a website that will attack you with loud irritating music the second it loads – visit http://www.parkstreetfest.com
