Signature Wines has brought together Columbus-made art, food and, of course, wine for an Urban Art Festival on Saturday, July 23, 2011, 3-8 p.m. Admission is free.
Local artists from Etsy, CloudHaus, Nontle Jewelry, Take It For Granite, Hyde-N-Seek Designs, Traxler Tees and more will be displaying and selling their pieces. Locally produced food from Leslie’s Creperie and artisan cheese from Sippel Family Farm’s Kokoborrego Cheese Company will be available.
As a winery that specializes in designing personalized labels, Signature Wines will also be designing wine labels on site. Photographer Andrew Tonn will be taking pictures of attendees with their art purchases, with an artist, or with their friends that they can turn into a wine label and put on a bottle of wine to take home.
Signature Wines will be pouring six varieties of wine at the festival: 2001 award-winning Port, 2004 Rose’, 2005 Merlot, 2005 award-winning Zinfandel Blush, 2005 Chardonnay (my personal favorite), and 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine will be available for purchase by the taste, glass or bottle.
