June may be the designated month to celebrate Ohio wine, but there’s cause to keep celebrating in July at the 11th Annual North Market Food and Ohio Wine Fest, a weekend-long chance to sip and savor Ohio’s finest wines paired with perfect bites.

Participating Ohio wineries include Brothers’ Drake Meadery, Chalet Debonne Vineyard, Ferrante Winery, Firelands Winery, Henke Winery, Maize Valley Winery, Markko Vineyard, Meranda-Nixon Winery, Mon Ami Winery, Raven’s Glenn Winery, Soine Vineyards, St. Joseph Vineyards, Stoney Ridge Winery, Troutman Vineyards, The Winery at Versailles, The Winery at Wolf Creek, Valley Vineyards, Viking Vineyard and Wyandotte Winery.

The Food & Ohio Wine Festival will kick-off on Friday, July 13 at a special preview party from 7-10 pm with live music by The New Basics Brass Band. Tickets are $20 and include a souvenir glass, 10 tasting tickets and a $5 gift certificate to the North Market. Preview tickets will be available at the door or you can buy them online.

The main event takes place Saturday, July 14 from 11am-8pm and Sunday, July 15 from 11am-6pm. Admission is only $5, which includes souvenir glass and tastings priced between $1 and $4. A full schedule of music and special events is available on the North Market website. Wines will be available for purchase by the glass and bottle as well.
