“Local” is the word this week as Local Matters’ Local Foods Week is in full effect.
To celebrate, The Tavern in Olde Towne East is featuring a local tap takeover: all 20 of their tap handles are currently occupied with Columbus breweries, including Elevator, Neil House, Four String, Zauber, Columbus Brewing, Hoster, Hoof Hearted, Barley’s and Gordon Biersch.
The Columbus breweries will take the taps for the rest of Local Foods Week. Bonus: Get there between 4-7pm for 1/2 off drafts during happy hour.
The Tavern, which just opened in June, is located at the corner of Oak Street and 18th in the Olde Towne East neighborhood of downtown Columbus.
