The Beverage Source in Newark is hosting an event showcasing local libations dubbed “Brew Ohio.”
Participating breweries include Buckeye Lake Brewery, Bucks Brewing, Granville Brewing Co., Great Lakes, Homestead Beer Co., Jackie O’s, Seventh Son and… Budweiser. Local cider, wine and liquor are also represented with Legend Valley Cider, Otter Creek Winery and Mill Street Distillery.
Food will be available from Allison’s Pub & Grub, the Mai Chau food truck and Jimmy John’s, and The Black Owls will provide musical entertainment..
Brew Ohio will take place Sunday, May 18 from 1-4pm. Tickets are $25 in advance (available at The Beverage Source) and $30 at the door. Admission includes 10 tasting tickets and a souvenier glass, and additional tasting tickets can be purchased at the event. Proceeds from the event go to support Newark Heath-Rotary Club projects, including a Ghana water project.
