Bars across the world are celebrating National Negroni Week June 2-8, and here in Columbus, Rebecca Monday from Curio at Harvest has led the charge to bring more than a dozen bars on board.
What’s in a Negroni? Equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.
What’s the point of Negroni Week? Celebrating a classic cocktail for a cause! Bars around the world will be mixing up their favorite Negroni variations all week and donating a portion of proceeds from each one sold to a local charity.
Participating bars in Columbus are Bar 145, Basi Italia, Curio at Harvest, DeepWood, Denmark, G. Michaels, Harvest Pizzerie German Village, Lindey’s, Little Rock, Mouton, Rigsby’s Kitchen, The Sycamore, The Table, Tree Bar, Till Dynamic Fare. Most of the bars are donating $1 from each Negroni to The Jack Roth Fund for Cancer Research, though a few selected different charities to support, a list of which can be found here.
