Middle West Spirits releasing new bourbon cream

Middle West Spirits is starting a new holiday tradition with its first release of Bourbon Cream.

This latest addition to Middle West’s spirit line marries fresh midwest sweet cream with the distillery’s award-winning Michelone Reserve 4-Grain Bourbon. The Bourbon Cream is produced at 15% alcohol by volume and finished at 30 proof — low enough alcohol content to be sold at grocery stores. The 750ml bottles of Bourbon Cream will retail at $20.

Middle West says the Bourbon Cream can be enjoyed neat, chilled, as a hot drink addition, or in cocktails. Recipes can be found at middlewestspirits.com.

“This holiday release carries a much softer flavor profile, yet it’s underscored by the depth, fullness and spice notes for which our Michelone Reserve has been honored,” said Middle West Spirits Cofounder and Owner Ryan Lang in a statement. “It connects with people across all ages and all levels of appreciation for bourbon – even more serious bourbon drinkers.”

Middle West plans to produce Bourbon Cream each year to be released annually in the fall prior to the holiday season.

Yes, I saw the MWS Bourbon Cream at Meijer at couple weeks ago. Today I just bought a bottle at Giant Eagle in NE Columbus. It was even on Sale.
