tour de grandview beerYou know how in Vegas and New Orleans you can walk down the street with a drink in your hand… and not get arrested? For one night, Grandview will get its own dose of open container awesomesauce.

The Grandview Heights council approved temporarily lifting the open-container rule during Tour de Grandview on the course and street party route from 6:30pm to midnight on June 27th. It is not a city-wide authorization, but it will allow people to walk around the course route with any alcoholic beverages they purchase at the street party or pick up from a house party.

The Ohio Taproom’s new Mobile Taproom will be on the course selling beer, and businesses and residents located along the route are encouraged to host house parties.
