What’s better than one drunk brunch? FOUR.
Join Columbus Food Adventures for a Brunch Tour and you’re in for four great locations, each offering their own unique personalities and stories, plus four delicious brunch dishes and (most importantly) four crave-worthy cocktails.
I got to tag along for the inaugural tour, led by none other than Dr. Breakfast. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Upcoming brunch tours are slated for April 26, May 17 and June 7. Grab your tickets before they sell out – because they will!
Here’s a preview of what’s in store if you hop on the CFA van for an upcoming tour.
The Table
Stop #1 takes you to the basement of The Table, a beautiful space outfitted in mismatched tables and chairs that makes you feel like you’re simultaneously at everyone’s Grandmas house. A delicious rum coffee drink was served with biscuits and gravy and mini cinnamon rolls while the owner shared her passion for local, hormone-free foods and future plans for a cheese-making room.

Hungry Soul Cafe
“The biscuit is why I married him. The sausage gravy is why I stayed.” Owner Anita Keller and husband George provide the laughs while serving baby Bloody Marys alongside a sample of their signature Hungarian cuisine, an apple butter and apples stuffed crepe.

Mozart’s
A live pianist set the stage for this beautiful, massive third stop on the tour. Hot mulled wine and a small selection of sweet brunch treats were served, and the chef managed to sneak out during the brunch rush to share some of the unique stories behind the building.
The Worthington Inn
This historic former hotel is a maze of gorgeous rooms and haunting ghost stories, shared by the manager during a tour of the space. We ended with mimosas and eggs benedict, which everyone on the tour was too full to eat, but managed to eat anyway.
