Ohio History Connection mixing history and cocktails

cocktail-mixologyThe Ohio History Connection is hosting an event series entitled Pleasures of the Cup, mixing history with a progressive cocktail party.

Each event in the series revolves around a different time period and period appropriate drinks. Attendees will interact with interpreters, sample cocktails, and participate in activities at several stops in Ohio Village or the History Center.

The first event, Monocles and Brandy, is slated for March 28. Guests are invited to Ohio Village for drinks and revelry — but be on the lookout, as their is a criminal in the ranks. Can you solve this 1880s mystery before the culprit gets away?

Following Monocles and Brandy will be Drinks of the Speakeasy on May 9; Mad for Martinis on August 15; and Drinks of the 19th Century on December 5.

Each Pleasures of the Cup event is $35 adult ($30 for Ohio History Connection members) Tickets for the entire four-part series are also available for $120 or $110/members. Tickets are available online. Series tickets must be purchased by March 22.
