Middle West Spirits expanding into second production facility

Written by on April 14, 2015 in Liquor - 1 Comment

Middle West Spirits announced today plans to expand its distillery to include a second location.

The new location will add nearly 23,0000 sq/ft to Middle West Spirits’ physical footprint. The additional square footage will be heavily used to expand the distillery’s barrel-aging program, as well as to make room for new bottling equipment, raw materials storage and office space. The new warehousing facility is located within one mile of the company’s current location in the Short North.

Middle West Spirits co-owner Brady Konya says the expansion coincides with a planned capital re-investment in its current Short North distillery that will increase the plant’s capacity to produce OYO vodkas and whiskeys in 2015.
