The latest addition to BrewDog’s not-so-subtle attempt to take over the world (of craft beer, at least) is BrewDog Franklinton, which will open its doors tomorrow just in time for the kickoff of Columbus Craft Beer Week,.
The 4,000 plus square foot bar is much larger than BrewDog’s Short North bar, which opened just a few weeks ago. In addition to a sizeable patio along Town Street, the bar is topped off — literally — with an almost 2,000 square foot rooftop patio offering a striking view of the Columbus skyline.
Doors to the new bar will open tomorrow, Friday, May 11 at 11am. The first 100 people in line will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes, including a grand prize trip for two to Aberdeen, Scotland.
Behind the bar are 24 taps which will be pouring several special beers brought in from BrewDog UK for the occasion of the opening, including Vagabond, Kingpin, Native Son, Abstrakt and Tokyo. Alongside those and several BrewDog staples from their U.S. production brewery in Canal Winchester are seven guest drafts primarily pouring Ohio craft beer.
The kitchen Franklinton BrewDog will be serving burgers, sandwiches and small plates, a pared down menu of their offerings in Canal.
BrewDog Franklinton is located at 463 W Town St.

Dang. I just drove by it on Monday and it still looked very much under construction. I’m impressed they pulled it all together.
#COPandme will be having it on that rooftop!
