Smuttynose Big Bottle Tasting

Tonight Crafted Drafts is featuring a lineup of big bottles from Smuttynose Brewing Company, including 2014 Wheat Wine, Spank, Smutinator, Smuttlabs Cherry Berliner Weisse, Smuttlabs Smoked Peach Berliner Weisse and Smuttlabs Thelema, plus a surprise Smuttlabs beer. 6:30pm-7:30pm, $10 per person.

Amateur Immature Science Fair

Actual Brewing is setting up six interactive science stations Saturday for an “amateur immature” adult science fair. You’ll be able to build-your-own marshmallow catapult, create slime, play a beer glass harp, erupt a vinegar volcano, wire a potato clock and blow dry ice bubbles. While you drink beer, of course.

Bob’s Bar 14th Anniversary Extravaganza

During this 15-hour 14th Anniversary Extravaganza at the self-proclaimed Cultural Hub of the Midwest, an impressive lineup of 60 beers such as Bell’s Hopslam, Fat Head’s Hop JuJu, Tripel Karmellet, and Jackie O’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Apparition will flow through the taps. Special firkins will also be tapped every two hours starting at noon, and door prizes will be given away starting in the late afternoon.

451 Spirits Launch Party

Columbus’ newest distillery, 451 Spirits, is hosting a launch party at Little Rock with cocktails, spirit samples, whiskey flights, and live entertainment with Columbus singer/songwriter and Slothtrop Records Recording Artist Jeff German with Matthew Wilson on Pedal Steel.

Tub Life Can Release

Hoof Hearted has another of their popular can relases this Sunday, this time for Tub Life Farmhouse Pale Ale. Miraculously, tickets to secure a few four-packs of the brew are still available.
